LACMA Art+Film is a celebrity-studded red carpet event every year, and this year’s gala felt more star-studded than ever. With major movie premieres absent due to the ongoing strike by the Screen Actors Guild and SAG-AFTRA, Hollywood’s A-listers showed up in droves, showing off a variety of glamorous evening gowns and suits. Since the evening was hosted by Gucci, many attendees chose to appear in some of the Italian brand’s most eye-catching outfits.
What are the fashion highlights at this year’s gala? There are some couple moments that are sure to turn heads, like when J.Lo walked up the steps to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck: J.Lo wore a champagne Gucci gown with a silk bustier blouse and lace skirt, while Affleck chose a classic black tuxedo.
Other stars chose to shine alone: Kim Kardashian caused a stir in a bright pink strapless gown with black opera gloves. Billie Eilish wears Gucci’s monogrammed two-piece suit, paired with the brand’s new vegan Horsebit bag. Lupita Nyong’o wore a sheer burgundy tulle gown by Gucci, accented with eye-catching jewelry by De Beers; Blackpink’s Rosé opted for a one-shoulder floral jumpsuit by Saint Laurent skirt, she finally didn’t appear in all black.
Meanwhile, the cast of “Killers of the Flower Moon” were also in the spotlight after the film’s premiere was shut down by a strike: Lily Gladstone wore a red cape gown by Gucci with a There were sheer accents, accessorized with ivory shell earrings by Aboriginal designer Jamie Okuma; Cara Jade Myers looked radiant in a quirky white dress from Rodarte .
