Never forget the original intention, Dior spring and summer image advertisement, blooming flowers and dreams

Although the weather is still cold, spring is not far away. Dior released the 2024 summer men’s wear image advertisement. Design director Kim Jones combined personal style with the inspiration of the previous artistic director, while celebrating Kim Jones’s fifth anniversary at DIOR.

The fleeting, dreamlike colors and scenes echoed the theme of the show’s “Hommes Fleurs Garden”. Fluorescent, saturated colors witness the joyful mood of blooming flowers on various Polo shirts, and are enriched by overlapping shirts worn inside and short necklaces worn outside, as well as suit jackets decorated with playful bows on the chest. The overall level is improved; tweed fabric and cannage pattern are two classic expressions this season. The former appears in jackets, shirts, pants and other items, while the DIOR Charm bag reproduces the cannage pattern and includes Dior Buffalo. Quilted leather loafers are the highlight of this season’s feet.

Slightly loose suits and long coats, or even sleeveless vests and shorts, allow the body to move more freely and unfettered. Paired with white stockings and black or cannage pattern leather shoes, it exudes the youthful look of a Dior man. A student-like atmosphere of innocence, never forgetting the original intention.

Saturated, fluorescent colors and multi-layered shapes seem to herald the excitement of spring, and this season’s “Hommes Fleurs Garden” theme.
