The British fashion brand Burberry recently released its 2025 early spring series, including the Rocking Horse, Shield, and Knight bags, each of which has introduced new materials, new sizes or different bag shapes. The classic British plaid remains, and the brand’s initials B are also everywhere. Metal accessories can be seen on various shoes, bags or clothing. The entire series of image visuals has invited Chinese supermodel Liu Wen to appear in the mirror for a straightforward interpretation.
The popular “Rocking Horse” bag style continues to evolve this season, such as a bucket bag with Burberry plaid, a cross-body bag with a detachable strap, and crocodile-embossed leather and Nappa leather first seen in the series. New types of metal hollow components appear on the bag, demonstrating brand creative director Daniel Lee’s rich creativity in metal, totems, and symbols, and enriching the skeleton and flesh of the new generation Burberry style universe.
Women’s footwear includes Tower high-heeled loafers decorated with the brand’s initials B, and pointed-toe Bird high-heeled shoes with carved decorations. The slit plaid three-quarter skirt is paired with a windproof, high-collared short leather jacket, and the bright red sports-style sunglasses are a perfect touch, embedding extreme and street DNA.
The classic long trench coat has been transformed and simplified, especially the fabrics are relatively thin compared to autumn and winter, such as silk and linen, or wool, cotton and Donegal tweed, and Burberry’s classic English plaid. After all, spring is a transitional season when winter has just passed and the temperature may not have warmed up yet. Men’s long camel leather jackets are also made of relatively light materials and pursue mobility, but loose turtleneck sweaters can keep warm without being boring.
Olive green has become the color focus of the new season, whether it appears in solid-color bags, plaid, or British roses on open-toe high heels. The corduroy lapel hunting jacket incorporates the wild goose and duck embroidery pattern that appeared in previous seasons, but the model also wears a golden knight ring on her hand, showing the Burberry man’s informal but inherent aristocratic charm.
