Continuing LOEWE’s ongoing Surplus Project, the limited edition Flamenco Surplus is made from leftover leather from past series. The craftsman team cuts and compresses the leather together, and then thins each piece of leather. , using undulating layers of color as decoration when thin layers of surface are removed, these natural tactile layers are reminiscent of rock formations or topographic maps in nature.
The Flamenco bag was first launched in the 1980s and was redesigned in 2015 by creative director Jonathan Anderson.
