TOD’S 2025 spring and summer show has concluded successfully at the Fonderia Carlo Macch foundry in Milan. Including brand ambassadors, brand family friends such as Eikura Nana, Iito Marie, Machida Keita, and Korean star NCT member Jungwoo were all present to watch the show. The theme of this season is “Artisanal Intelligence”. Although it is abbreviated as AI, it emphasizes the infinite possibilities of craftsmanship and craftsmanship in creation.
Lorenzo Quinn, an artist well-known for his plaster sculptures of hands, created a super-large device for TOD’S show venue in which he held a belt and waved it. The entire venue can’t help but remind people of the “battle ropes” commonly used in sports. The continuous shaking of the leather ropes is used to express energy, and it also resembles the craftsmen who continue to create unremittingly with their craftsmanship and wisdom.
Taking a look at the 41 new outfits released this time, the designs with flat mouth and dropped shoulders show the uninhibited and even boyish side of TOD’S women. A set of white or a set of black in elegant colors, with a large-capacity tote bag in hand. It can be a daily look for commuting to get off work, or a casual style on the way to vacation. The drawstring trousers come with a large front pocket.
Rock, sand, bronze…the colors that enrich the Italian Mediterranean landscape, such as green grass, blue sea and red earth, have become constant items across seasons. Slightly loose tailoring but still emphasizing the waist, asymmetrical cuts, and cape-style long coats all allow TOD’S women to show random rhythms when walking, liberating the desire for freedom in their hearts. This pursuit of stress-free is also reflected in a brown long shoulder-length dress or a white flat-top dress, paired with loafers or flat sandals to carry the minimalism to the end.
