Continuing the exciting and creative collaboration at Dior’s 2019 summer men’s wear conference, Dior men’s creative director Kim Jones once again teamed up with contemporary artist Kaws to launch the “Dior x Kaws” joint capsule series. Red orange, neon yellow, and bright green form a series of casual and cheerful fashion energy, combining Dior classic elements with the unique style of Kaws, a New York artist. The full series is expected to be officially launched on January 2, 2025.
The clothing series is mainly loose and comfortable casual clothing, and the overall items reveal a relaxed retro feeling. In this joint capsule series, the “Dior” logo has been redesigned into a majestic snake outline snaking between the letters to outline this iconic symbol, reminiscent of the upcoming Year of the Snake. The design of this unique and energetic pattern embellishes cotton twill shorts, shirts and sweaters decorated with the classic cannage pattern, and decorates the Rider 2.0 series of bags, small leather goods and B33 shoes. Continuing this charming charm, the fun snake also forms the “CD” letters, emblazoned on jackets, sports coats and B57 shoes. The B35 NXXT sneakers are presented in neon yellow and red with a distinctive silhouette, and are paired with exquisite accessories such as necklaces, bracelets and brooches, showing a lively and fashionable new look.
