Louis Vuitton (LV) has launched the 2025 Fall/Winter edition of its New Formal collection, catering to the needs of men for business and formal occasions. Led by Men’s Artistic Director Pharrell Williams, the collection is crafted with meticulous details, featuring timeless business cuts, evening wear suitable for various occasions, and sophisticated casual styles made from exquisite materials.
This season’s collection is defined by classic color tones, including shimmering silver, vibrant periwinkle, fine pinstripe navy, and black-and-white monochromes. LV’s signature patterns run throughout the entire range, with intricate details such as embossed leather, jacquard silk linings, carved horn buttons, hollow cufflinks, heat-set rhinestones, and satin patterns, all combining exquisite handcraftsmanship with high-tech advancements. The design establishes a new balance between sports, office, and event wear.
Tailored trousers in initial-cut wool come in both narrow cigarette-fit cuts and adjustable drawstring waist styles. The small flared pants add a stylish touch to double-breasted jackets, while the zip-front wool tweed sports jacket and leather-accented knitted wool top blend casual and formal elements. Suits like the “Napolitana” and “Pont Neuf” styles are made even more fashionable, while the “Gaston” style adopts a brand-new straight waistband design, creating a strong and powerful silhouette. Pattern and fabric choices include LV Fishnet jacquard, Damier Heritage designs featuring the LV logo, and monochromatic brand vertical pinstripes.
For evening wear, the collection features elegant tops, chic collarless jackets, and shirts with lustrous Damier collar accents, adding shine and depth to a glamorous evening look. Evening gowns, luxurious suits, and silk pajamas are adorned with the brand’s iconic Monogram pattern. The evening wear also inspired the footwear designs in the collection. Modern business luggage and leather goods are reimagined to align with the New Formal collection’s overall design aesthetic. Accessories, featuring LV’s logo pattern and fishnet design, echo the details of the clothing, creating a cohesive and polished look.
