GUCCI has unveiled its 2025 Summer Resort campaign, themed around the traditional Italian seaside pool “Libo.” The campaign features American actress Daisy Edgar-Jones, Canadian actor Aliocha Schneider, and British actor David Jonsson, capturing the carefree and spontaneous essence of summer.
Through the lens of photographer Jim Goldberg, the campaign shifts between lively moments of the stars bonding intimately, and sweeping shots that capture the vacation villa, the green views emerging from stone bricks, or a pair of exquisite leather sandals on the beach. Handwritten words in red, blue, black, and white come to life along the coastline, in the distant sky, and at the mountain ridges, delivering heartfelt messages that draw the viewer away from reality, inviting them to a distant, dreamy place. Through imagery, the campaign introduces us to the vibrant possibilities of 2025’s summer, with red-pink GG-logo beach towels, oversized coffee-colored suede Softbit bags, neon green frame sunglasses, and Flora-themed cropped tops—each element setting the scene for a perfect holiday ahead.
The 2025 GUCCI Summer Resort collection features a rich array of new items, such as the soft-leather GG Marmont shoulder bag with its boxy shape, reimagining the 1970s GG logo with metallic buckles. The GG CHROMA series draws inspiration from the shimmering ocean reflections, translating them into design: ocean-blue gradient hues and GG Icon-coated canvas combine in large totes and Gucci Re-Web sneakers, igniting a sense of energy and excitement, almost whispering to its owner: “Put down your work and come vacation with me.”
