Swiss luxury watchmaker RICHARD MILLE, renowned for its high-tech, sporty designs, has introduced two new color variations for the RM 30-01. One features deep blue and white Quartz TPT® quartz fiber, while the other combines TZP black ceramic with Carbon TPT® carbon fiber. Both models pair an openworked, technically sophisticated movement with racing-inspired aesthetics, creating a dynamic “duet of blue” on the wrist.
Closely linked with motorsports and F1, RICHARD MILLE is the official partner of the F1 Ferrari team and is worn by top drivers such as Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso. The RM 30-01’s open dial translates this racetrack DNA into a 55-hour power reserve indicator, designed with winding curves reminiscent of a racing circuit. The On/Off indicator at 11 o’clock shows the engagement state of the clutchable automatic winding system: “Off” when the reserve is above 40 hours and “On” below 40 hours, automatically regulating winding to prevent over-tensioning. At 3 o’clock, the dial features H, D, W function selectors (Hour, Date, Winding), operable via the SELECTOR button at 2 o’clock on the case.
While previous RM 30-01 editions explored different colors and materials, the new releases emphasize high-tech craftsmanship. The deep blue and white Quartz TPT® version exudes a refined, cool energy, while the black TZP ceramic and Carbon TPT® model offers a sleek, bold aesthetic enhanced by a blue rubber ring on the crown for added color contrast and operational comfort. Both watches feature Grade 5 titanium baseplates and bridges, and the skeletonized RMAR2 automatic movement embodies the brand’s racetrack-inspired DNA. Subtle blue accents in both versions evoke calm precision amid high-speed performance, balancing passion and rationality on the wrist.
