Scotland celebrates Dior show

Dior released its 2025 early spring vacation series in the gardens of Drummond Castle on the evening of June 3rd, local time in Scotland. It was inspired by Mr. Dior’s 1955 presentation in Perthshire, Scotland, with plaid fabrics throughout. The entire series. Brand ambassadors Han Shaoxi, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jennifer Lawrence, actress Lily Collins and others gathered at the launch venue to appreciate the latest series of designs.

The gardens of Drummond Castle have an iconic Scottish style, blending French and Italian Renaissance influences, echoing the design of this collection by Dior Women’s Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri: the unicorn and the Scottish unicorn. The intersection of thistle flowers and the Millefleurs pattern of small floral flowers creates a new pattern that has never been seen before, and is transformed into exquisite heraldic embroidery. Combining various colors and kilt tailoring, from romanticism to punk, it travels through the past and modern times of fashion. The rich changes in plaid fabrics are reminiscent of the brand founder Mr. Dior’s evaluation of plaid fabrics: “It may be the only A gorgeous fabric that defies fashion trends.”

In 1955, the photos of Mr. Dior’s spring and summer design conference in Scotland were transformed into prints and became appliqué trimmings for kilts and navy jackets, forming a montage like a movie, evoking endless memories. Velvet and lace, two fabrics with completely different textures, are cleverly combined. The exaggerated and wide sleeves are paired with a gorgeous embroidered vest and a small dress with pleated skirt to create a modern equestrian style.

Skirts are the focus of this collection, whether they are classic kilts made locally or modern versions with innovative interpretations, clever dresses of different lengths, paired with coats and capes with large hoods, and the occasional rain boots, There are small gray jackets made of men’s fabrics, and the most iconic Bar Jacket, decorated with Brandenburg buckles made of black velvet. Evening wear evokes nostalgia with velvet and woven fishnets, while slim-fitting tops accentuate the voluminous skirts and elegant silhouettes.
